Elementals are a mortal race originating from the Primal Will which first created gods to shepherd each element from the heavens to Daear. The Will’s god-servants were immortal vessels of pure fire, water, wind, gray geological earth, and green biological earth, housing attitudes and intelligence equal to each element in due measure. The Primal Will desired a claim on Daear, which the Elementals came to know as the hybrid heaven, and sent its godly envoys to propagate its will.

The heavens the gods were descended from, and from which their mortal offspring bear direct resemblance, are immeasurably vast lands separated like pocket worlds unto themselves. The Red Heaven, a place of ash and flame, surging volcanoes, and firestorms, is a suitable dwelling for only life forms that can withstand it. The Blue Heaven, a place of deep ocean and underwater lairs, is rife with pescarian creatures that could only inhabit a landless zone. The Gray Heaven has a dense core surrounded by layers of aged cold layers, whereupon the rock itself seems to move. The Violet Heaven, full of tempests, howling wind, and raging updrafts, is populated only with beings that live aloft. The Green Heaven is a haven to plant life of every variety, where every twisting vine and shaking tree may contain sentience, and lives, improbably, without most other species.
